In our study of Abraham's wedding and world, you will discover that:
- Abraham's wedding was cultural.
- There is no difference between the old world destroyed by the Flood and the new world of Noah in terms of wickedness.
- God did not destroy the new world to this day because of the covenant made to Noah and his sons after the Flood, which was cemented by the Rainbow (Gen 9: 8-15).
- Terah, Abraham's father, initially decided to go and live in Canaan. He took his family enroute to Canaan, but landed in Haran where Terah lived and died, and God called Abraham from Haran to Canaan.
